Writer-song singer Heather Maloney releases her 2018 EP Just Enough Sun on the celebrated indie record label, Signature Sounds. Co-produced by her bandmate, Ryan Hommel, the 6-song EP was recorded in live, single-take performances that showcase Maloney and Hommel's dynamic live duo show, which is as electric (a la Shovels & Rope, The Civil Wars) as it is heart-breakingly vulnerable ( la Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Milk Carton Kids). Upon her 2015 release Making Me Break - featuring an all-star backing band including members of Band of Horses, the Wallflowers and My Morning Jacket - Maloney landed on SPIN Magazine's "Artist To Watch" list. The last song on the album, "Nightstand Drawer", became her first major network song placement on CBS's "Elementary". Maloney's 2014 collaboration with rising Boston quartet, Darlingside, featured their version of "Woodstock" (written by Joni Mitchell, covered by Crosby Stills Nash & Young), which received praise by the New York Times, and even Graham Nash himself. Maloney has toured nationally as a headliner and also in support of acts like Lake Street Dive, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Gary Clark Jr., Colin Hay, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and many more. Her upcoming full length LP is slated for a Fall 2018 release.
