KRIS YOUMANS BAND

ANNUAL LABOR DAY WEEKEND FAMILY EVENT. KIDS ARE FREE AND THERE WILL BE A FOOD TRUCK!

Kris Youmans has always been influenced by the southern charm & coastal life of Savannah, Ga, where she was born & raised , and now draws inspiration for her original music from living in Northwest Georgia. The infusion of western swing, & americana into the traditional country sound that she already loved, has helped to form a niche among her local & regional listeners. The Kris Youmans Band is made up of Barefoot Slim on pedal steel, David Puett on guitar, Patrick Thompson on bass, proving once again that there is a love of traditional & western country & the great musicians that play it!

Kris is the founder of Newnan Unplugged , & also is co-coordinator for the Carrollton Nashville Songwriters Association International, Carrollton chapter. She is a community partner with Meals On Wheels and organizes musical fundraisers for them annually. She has been nominated several times at Ga-Country.com for female vocalist of the year & also in the Ga Music Awards 2013. The Kris Youmans Band performs in venues throughout the Atlanta metro area & just completed a new CD @ Southside Tracks , which includes "Slim Take Me Dancin' as the first track of this cultivation of heartfelt & fun original tune (VIDEO ABOVE).

AND: ALL THE REST

All The Rest” is a multi-award winning band based out of Senoia, Georgia, just south of Atlanta. Their list of accomplishments includes: winner of several battle of the bands competitions, open mic series champions at Zac Brown’s “Southern Ground Social Club", regular performers at “Six Flags over Georgia" as well as performing at established Atlanta area venues such as Smith’s Old Bar, Masquerade, the Olde Blind Dog, Red Light Cafe, and Eddie’s Attic among others. They were one of the first bands to cut tracks at Zac Brown’s Crow’s Nest studio after receiving recording time as the prize for winning Zac’s SGSC contest. For over three years the boys have been honing their craft and developing their sound.

Influenced heavily by bands and artists such as Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Beatles, Keith Urban, Kings of Leon, Switchfoot, The Almost, Johnny Cash, and Coldplay…the band has taken an honest approach to storytelling through music that has a style and feel all their own. Hello world, here’s "All the Rest"!
